Adam Fraser - Whistler Real Estate Lawyer
After graduating from the University of Swansea with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) in 2011, Adam set his sights on Whistler. A brief sojourn, he thought, before beginning his legal career.
But as many of us can testify, a season in Whistler often turns to a year – and sometimes, a lifetime. Adam very quickly realized that he was exactly where he wanted to be and decided to set down roots in the beloved mountain town. While reading The Pique, he saw an advertisement for a legal assistant position with Tom Docking Whistler Real Estate Lawyer and applied.
Luckily for Adam, he got the job and found a terrific mentor in Tom. Both Tom and Adam benefited greatly from their new employment relationship. Adam was planning to start the process of becoming accredited as a British Columbia lawyer, and Tom was considering the future of his firm and plans for succession. Over the next six years, Adam continued to work with Tom while also going through the accreditation process. Throughout this, Adam benefited from Tom’s 30+ years of experience as a real estate lawyer and developed an intimate knowledge of real estate and conveyancing procedure.
Adam is proud to be a British Columbia lawyer and advise clients on all matters relating to real estate, including conveyancing, bank mortgages, property transfers, and commercial business real estate.
Adam offers the unique benefit of acting for clients while being intimately familiar with the “back-end” work, ensuring that his client’s transactions are handled smoothly and efficiently.
In his spare time, you’ll usually find Adam riding the trails in Whistler, Squamish and Pemberton, fiddling with any number of home improvement projects, exploring the backcountry, and spending time with his partner, Kate, their pup, and their grumpy senior cat.
